Angela Foster
Attorney
Angela Foster has built her career on a simple belief: the law should work for the people it’s meant to protect. A Tacoma native, Angela earned her J.D. and an LL.M. in Tax Law from the University of Washington School of Law in 2016 before moving to Washington, D.C. to serve as a Trial Attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice, Tax Division, where she represented the United States in civil tax litigation and earned back-to-back Outstanding Attorney Awards.
In 2022, Angela returned home to Washington state, joining Lane Powell PC in Seattle as an Associate Attorney, where she represented individuals and corporations, including insurers, in complex financial, business, and tax litigation. That experience gave her a firsthand look at how insurance companies and their counsel build a defense, insight she now puts to work for injured people instead.
In 2024, Angela made the move to personal injury law representing individuals with another law firm before joining Rush, Hannula, Harkins & Kyler. It’s work she feels is a calling—getting to know her clients’ unique stories, advocating for them against insurance companies and negligent parties, and walking them through every step of the process so they always know where things stand. Angela is building a broad practice and is open to a wide range of personal injury matters.
Outside the office, Angela and her wife, Kat, have been married for more than a decade and are raising two elementary-school-age kids and two dogs. She’s grateful to be back in her hometown, raising her family with a view of Puget Sound, and can often be found on the pickleball court, grilling in the backyard, or curled up with a book. As a member of the LGBTQ community herself, Angela is proud to welcome and advocate for LGBTQ clients.
